FOR OCTOBER 17TH 2020, THE APLE COLLECTIVE WANT TO SHOWCASE ALL OF THE AMAZING ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE FOR #IDEP2020.
This year APLE Collective are focusing on the importance of the Voices of Lived Experience.
We want a voice, we want you to listen, we want to participate in making change together. We want to change relationships with power. Participation of people with lived experience of poverty is vital to making a more compassionate and just society.
October 17th marks the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The APLE Collective are documenting the solidarity shown for this monumental day by lighting up the UK map with activities that are happening all across the country to commemorate IDEP 2020.
Whether you are hosting an event in your local community, holding a minute silence for lives lost or supporting the day on your social media accounts, we want to showcase the wonderful events taking place all over the country. We are also releasing a series of blogs and short videos sharing our voices and taking over the JRF Twitter account. To get involved:
