‘Participatory Ways of Talking About Poverty Digitally’. Webinar. 10am-12pm Tuesday 14th July 

As organisations with lived experience of poverty, we the Addressing Poverty Through Lived Experience (APLE) Collective are working to tackle poverty across the UK. APLE invite you to a participatory online webinar bespoke to people with direct experience of poverty. This webinar will be focussed on how to develop participatory ways of talking about poverty.


The webinar has been designed and will be delivered alongside people with experience of poverty. The webinar will be participatory and discussion based, focussed on reflection and information sharing among participants. 

·       This webinar will introduce APLE Collectivediscuss our participatory approaches and share our experiences.



·       The webinar will invite On Road Media, The Frameworks Institute and members of the APLE Collective to share their experiences and knowledge of the Talking About Poverty Framing tools and discuss how we can use them to build public and political will to take action, during and after COVID-19 Lockdown.

APLE Collective, had to work flexibly as COVID-19 hit and has been developing new digital approaches to ensure that its collective is led by expertise by experience. The webinar willshare the approaches that APLE Collective have taken during COVID-19 Lockdown, and the learning gathered from these
